Sports Person of the Year

The North Down Sports awards held on Friday 28th of May saw our very own David Brashaw presented with the Sports Person of the year award for 2003. David was nominated for his achievements of 2003, which included the coveted title of WKC World Wado Kata Champion, which he won in Russia in June 2003. The fact that David is the first person from Britain and Ireland to have won the World Championship in this field certainly shows how lucky we are to have such a talent in our club. A view that was certainly taken by the board of judges. Well done to David!
